Anti Aging Skin Cream

Anti aging skin care products are commonly thought of when people reach their forties. But, the use of these products should be encouraged even in younger kids. It is never too early to begin using anti aging skin cream, if you choose the right product.

A while back the primary concern was television and the top 40, but these concerns have been replaced by piles of cosmetics, jars of vitamins, and enticing exercise tapes. At the beginning, when you notice that first crease around your mouth or across your forehead as you stand in front of the mirror, you despair and get depressed with the thought that you are “over the hill”.

Relax. New advances in anti aging skin care can help diminish the appearance of those creases or wrinkles.

Some people believe that physical appearance has nothing to do with being over the hill. While this phrase might seem encouraging or uplifting, it will probably not help you with regards to how attractive you feel. The right antiaging skin cream can help you feel more attractive.

If you have children you might want to teach them that anti aging skin care is actually a life long process that should be included in their usual hygiene regimen. It’s never too late for you, of course, but for them the sooner they start the better the chances they’ll have at protecting their skin’s health, improve their appearance, and possibly extend their life spans.

Research seems to indicate that the skin damage that eventually leads to cancer might even occur before the age of 20. It is very important to wear sunscreen, but it is also necessary to reapply it on a regular basis, whether you are in the water or not.

We usually don’t see an SPF rating on an anti aging skin cream because these products are designed for daily use. Sunscreens should be applied if you are expecting to spend 15 minutes or more in the sun. They inhibit the natural tanning process and consequently protect the deepest of the skin’s layers from damage.

Oxygen causes the damage known as wrinkles, but oxygen is unavoidable. When oxygen gets into the skin’s surface, it doesn’t interact well with the molecules in it. It causes a chain reaction at the molecular level that is commonly known as free radical production. An effective, anti aging skin care cream or lotion has to do something about those free radicals.

UV radiations from the sun accelerate the process and the damage done by free radicals. Antioxidants are the best known group of nutrients used in an anti aging skin cream.

There are many antioxidants, but the two most common and best known are Vitamin E and C. Although, vitamin C does not seem to work very well for the skin, things that contain the vitamin, such as avocado, are effective for increasing the production of new skin-cells.

Up until now, the best antioxidant they have found for anti aging skin care is coenzyme Q10. It took a while to find a form of coenzyme Q10 that could be readily and easily absorbed. Nowadays, they have an antiaging skin cream called Nano-Lipobelle that penetrates through seven of the skin’s layers and scientists can literally “see” the free radicals being counteracted.

Many other new ingredients have improved the performance of anti aging skin care creams and lotions. Coenzyme Q10 is just the tip of the iceberg. We should still be researching.
